Then came the most deadly pandemic of the decade - Covid 19 and the World closed its doors for the people. During this tough period SDRF with great enthusiasm and hope to uplift people from misery of death and lack of essentials distributed sanitizers and masks in various areas all across Bihar. Creating awareness about the need to stay safe from this deadly disease was the major cause of concern. We with the cooperation and conscious effort of our team members helped people in creating awareness about safety from covid.
Successful Covid Vaccination Drive 2021 - During the lockdown period in 2021, SDRF along with the assistance of police authorities, social workers and district president, Arvind kumar distributed Covid 19 safety kits to the underprivileged areas of Bauruni Vatika Chowk,Mirchaya Chowk and other rural areas. We distributed covid safety kits to men and women. The men's safety kit has 10 surgical masks, 1 sanitizer. For women there are 10 Surgical masks , 1 sanitizer and 5 sanitary napkins for women. We distributed more than 2000 safety kits to the underprivileged people during the deadly pandemic of covid.
In 2022 at Bihar's Bhagalpur, SDRF along with the district President of Human Rights Commission – Ms. Amita Kaushik and police Station Incharge - Sudhir Kumar with the group of women police distributed masks and sanitizer to the people in the area It was essential to make people aware of the need for masks and sanitizer for safety from covid and to stay healthy with proper hygiene. Our team members helped us a lot in making this event successful. We absolutely feel proud that we were able to successfully do this distribution drive. It was not possible without the cooperation of SDRF members, Police authorities and Human rights commission President Ms. Amita Kaushaik.
